Description

  • Monitor vessel performance, fuel consumption, and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including maintenance, logistics, and finance, to achieve operational objectives.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to onboard personnel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Relevant experience in domestic shipping operations, preferably with passenger and oil/chemical tanker vessels.
  • Knowledge of maritime regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel and work irregular hours as needed.
