Description
- Monitor vessel performance, fuel
consumption, and maintenance schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety,
environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and
implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate
with other departments, including maintenance, logistics, and finance, to
achieve operational objectives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to
onboard personnel.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical
Engineering or related field.
- Relevant experience in domestic shipping
operations, preferably with passenger and oil/chemical tanker vessels.
- Knowledge of maritime regulations, safety
protocols, and environmental standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving
skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal
abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under
pressure and in a dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel and work irregular
hours as needed.
